Tooth Anatomy and Eruption Timeline
At birth, babies already have 20 primary (baby) teeth hidden beneath the gums. These typically begin to emerge around six months of age. By the time a person turns 21, all 32 permanent teeth have usually come in, replacing the baby teeth entirely.
